Meet Dr. Hirbod Azizi
As an ex-professional swimmer for Canada, Dr. Azizi received the highest level of care, including chiropractic care. His active lifestyle made him keenly aware of the importance of chiropractic care for athletes to perform at the highest level, recover quickly from injury, and prevent future injuries.
However, he wasn’t aware of the wider benefits of chiropractic until he was involved in a serious car accident during his sophomore year in a pre-med program at the University of Texas in Dallas. The accident changed his entire view on the medical system—while most medical providers prescribed painkillers and suggested surgery for his disc herniation, it was a chiropractor who educated him on the different treatment options available.
Deciding on the Chiropractic Path
Shortly after recovering from his accident, Dr. Azizi worked as a case manager in a personal injury law firm. For nearly five years, while he finished up multiple degrees, he learned the legal side of personal injury and how patients are treated from start to finish. This experience solidified his decision on the medical route he wanted to take.
He graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health and Sciences in 2021 and founded One & Only Chiropractic in Tustin in 2022. He chose Orange County as a place where he could live, work, and contribute to the health and well-being of the community.
